About the Role:
Kids Learning Academy in Cleveland, OH is looking for a passionate and organized Childcare Administrator to help lead our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily childcare center operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
- Manage staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate child enrollment records, attendance, and developmental documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding policies, programs, and child progress
- Ensure compliance with Ohio childcare licensing regulations and state health and safety standards
- Coordinate curriculum planning and educational programming with teaching staff
- Manage center budgets, billing, and tuition processing
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education administrative role
- Knowledge of Ohio childcare licensing requirements and ODJFS regulations
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in childcare management software and basic office applications
- Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for child development
